Thank you Alan, powerful and beautiful words that continue to bring hope and inspire us. …change becomes inevitable. The true transformational presence which we all become a part of, creating a world that works.
Authentic co-creative presence convenes us and inspires us to build a world that works for all…. These are beautiful and powerful words. They give instruction to how to bear what seems so unbearable. And are a reminder that we are not alone in a quest to hold onto and rejoice in our inner freedom. Thank you Alan for being a beacon of truth!
Thank you, Kathryn. We sometimes can get lost in thinking we aren't "doing" anything unless it is something big. When, in fact, it is our presence, in the long run, that makes the biggest impact.
These words are so soothing, and a reminder that doing my own inner work is not only empowering to me but I notice its impact on those around me in very subtle ways even though that was not my intention. Maybe I finally get why the wise man doesn’t have to speak, this coming from a very chatty Kathy.
Thank you Alan. Such powerful, beautiful words. I listened three times to really let them sink in. I’m going to write on my wall:” When a great ship is in a harbor and moored, it is safe, there can be no doubt. But … that is not what great ships are built for.”
I love this, Alan. When I was younger, I used to try to make myself show up as an activist in ways that were not native to my soul. It's soothing to realize that the best way to show up is to be fully who I am. (And scary, too, of course).
Absolutely, Cate. Show up fully as who you are. And sometimes that is, indeed, scary. I've walked in that scariness many times in my life. Yet I made it. And you have, too. Imagine how the world would be different if everyone stepped back, took a deep breath (maybe more than one!), and stood in their authentic soul truth. And then made choices from there. We would not all agree--that's for sure--yet we might give more space to one another and find ways to talk with each other. Thank you, Cate.
Standing up and showing our soul doesn't always bring what we hope for. We all have our own experiences. I've had challenging and painful moments as well. Yet in each one, I learned more about myself and about armor and about love. I stepped back and took time for healing and finding my center again. And then I stood up once more. Because I can't not shine my light and show my soul.

Thank you, Giselle.

Thank you for reminding us to shine our light from a humble place 🧡

Beautiful ❤️
Thank you, Tuutje! I love that "ships" wisdom. I've heard some version of that phrase from so many sources, and it is so powerful.

Thanks for always showing your soul, Alan! As always, you are a powerful (and calming, comforting) role model!
Thank you, Johnathon.
Hi Alan, my friends!
I was waiting for your post and I admire it so so much.
I was inspired by your and Clarissa Pinkola Estés words:
"These times are asking us to show the true version of who we are and who we’re called to become.
(...) To be fierce and to show mercy toward others"
With " the courage to remain open-hearted and discipline to keep your focus on who you are and what wants to happen". My hands are on the deck.
(...) It’s about shining your soul light brightly and letting that light do its work".
I trust it.
Thank you.
Thank you, Dagmara.
Very powerful , Alan. I enjoyed every minute of it !
What resonates a lot with me is , instead of 'fighting against' ( you know me .. ha ha )
" If you would help to calm the tumult,
this is one of the strongest things you can do...."
Have a nice day and thanks a lot :-) :-)
inge

Thank you, Madeleine. Laughing is such important medicine these days!
I once stood up for my Soul, my ground of worth. My Self
I was destroyed
