What a great column to discover after one of those nights of waking up bothered by one of those ongoing community problems. Thanks once again for sharing the tools—resolution, discovery, and insights await!

Hi Alan

I like so much listening to you, your sharing somehow guides mi through my challenges in the last couple of months, I met you.

I don’t want to be awake in the middle of a night but it is my reality, too right now.

Sometimes my mind is incredible busy and sometimes I feel I have a choice not to resist it and even not to resist to the challenging situation which my mind wants to figure it out.

“This is not about the situation; it’s about you”

In my experience the openness is the openness to my feeling of resistance first but without any agenda, without outcomes even to open.

It is my checking point if I am ready to enter to any possible emotions in my body.

It seems to me that the resistance is kind of guard protecting mi from sadness and fear of not know.

It seems it protects mi also from the feeling of vulnerability which means from my experience the openness to my own heart fully even if my heart can be broken.

Thank you for your presence and this community.
